MK Media Productions was founded in 2007 and began as a video production agency primarily servicing marketing and media briefs for television, web and social media.
Prior to this, Melinda Kalac was working in radio and music television as a presenter, reporter, producer and editor on Melbourne’s PBSFM, Ch.31 and SBS where she began her media production apprenticeship. She then continued on to study Film Production at the University of Melbourne and AWARD school for creatives in Advertising at the Victorian College of the Arts.
MK Media Productions past clients include Oxfam Australia, Make Trade Fair, Multicultural Commission of Victoria, Close The Gap indigenous health campaign, Make Trade Fair campaign, Yamaha, Soul Shoes, Look What’s Local, Melbourne International Film Festival, Noise Media Productions, Masci Hair & Spa, Chill Island Festival and Ashish Institute of Inner Studies.
Melinda Kalac has also crewed on many independent films prior to Producing and Directing an award winning short film, Your Best Foot Forward. Starring comedian Ash Williams, artist Tony Mason, actress Ally Pinnock and Carlton AFL legend David Rhys-Jones.
MK Media Productions has taken a short break the last few years whilst Melinda is writing her books and courses.
